Today, when Samantha woke up from her nap I got her all ready to head out. We have a big agenda for the night. First stop, we went out to Hilliard to go shopping. Then we went the Dutch Kitchen in Plain City with Jimbo, Lib, Pa, Larry, Kathy, Lisa, Joe, Matt and Jill. They have an amazing buffet. They even had a couple goats and a young cow in the back and Samantha liked being able to look at them. After dinner, we went up to Easton to do a little more shopping. Then we stopped at Wendy's to get Frosty's. It is so blazin' hot outside that a Frosty was about the only thing that could cool us down.

From a few Sunday's ago...
Playing in the rain.
Last night it started poring down rain. So I took Samantha out to the front porch to watch it. But it did not take long before she wanted to start playing in the rain. We ended up being out there for over half an hour. Then we came in and took a big bubble bath together in my big tub! Such a fun Friday night!
One sick little girl...
A few weeks ago Samantha randomly woke up with a 102 degree fever. She had not other symptoms of being sick but here she was with a really high fever. So Jimbo and Matt ended up coming over first thing in the morning to watch Samantha while Jeff and I were at work. But they had to leave @ noon so I came home to be with my sick little baby. When I got home she was sleeping. But by 1:30 she was awake and not happy. I went into her room to get her and took her temp. It was up to 104.4 degrees. So I rushed her into the bathtub to start getting here fever down. I also gave her Ibuprofen to help fight the fever too. She was not a happy camper being in the bathtub, but I knew it would help. After the bath we sat on the couch. I put a "frozen" bean sock around her neck, again; to help with the fever. When she started shivering I took off the bean sock and let her cuddle up with me in my blanket. We ended up sleeping on and off all afternoon right on the couch. She was such a pitiful sight to see...

4th of July
On the 4th, Jeff and I both had the day off work, so we took Samantha to the Gahanna Freedom Parade. We met up with Nick, Mandy, Grady, Chase, Dave, Amanda, Sylvie and Eileen (Amanda's Cousin). The kids had a great time collecting candy.
Samantha was also buming some chips off of Grady.
Sylvie loved watching the marching band. She could not take her eyes off of them!
