This morning, when Samantha got up, she was in a great mood! She has just been so much fun lately! Jeff and I have just loved spending time with her and soaking her up!

We had a meeting after church so we got home a little later than normal. By the time we got her home and in bed she passed right out. At 4, Jeff finally woke her up. But I am not sure that she was totally ready to meet the day. It took her about 20 minutes to fully wake up.

We ended up going to Eastland Mall for a little bit. (My friends from work call this the "Local Mall") And in the last few years a lot of the big chain stores have left, but there are still a few of the anchor's...Sears, JC Penny's, Bath and Body Works, etc. At one end of the mall there is a small section of ride on cars that Samantha loved!

This one was a simulation of a roller coaster.

And a school bus...

Then at the other end of the Mall there was a soft play area for kids. Mostly everything is foam covered and Samantha loved it!

She even made a new friend!

I hope she will learn how to tell time better than I did.

Making all the other kids wait until she goes down the slide.

Poking her head out of a hole in the tree!

Checking herself out in the mirror.
Again, by the time we got home from our shopping trip, she was ready to hit the hay.
Goodnight!

Bath Time

Lauren does a great job updating the blog so I thought I would post a picture from tonight. I was on bath duty tonight and the picture below shows just how much Samantha loves getting clean! Could this kid really be any cuter?

So I don't get yelled at for not blogging...

This picture is from Friday night...She was pointing to her dimples for her daddy. So cute...

This picture is from Friday on the way home from the babysitters. I sent it to Jeff to get him thru his first week back at Wasserstrom!!! I mean seriously, that cute face can get you thru anything.

A fun filled Saturday!!!

After Samantha got up from her morning nap Jeff and I took her to the mall for a little retail therapy. First stop was Easton...then Polaris.

We wanted to take her to the indoor play area for kids. Let me just tell you she absolutely loved
the whole playing inside thing.

Close up...

Every time she went down the slide it was on her belly and head first.

Daddy and his princess.

For dinner, Jeff made us a huge pot of chili. (It is the most delicious Chili in the world by the way!) And Samantha loved loved loved it. She ate a huge bowl all by her self!

Let it snow...

Today around 2:30 PM it stared snowing. By the time I got home it was really coming down! So when Jeff wanted to go out and shovel he suggested we bundle Samantha up and take her sledding. I thought that was a great idea!

Since Jeff was shoveling the driveway, I pulled Samantha up and down the street. She loved checking out all the snow!

And tasting it!

She really liked it when I would run as fast as I could. But it was so slippery that I couldn't run very fast.

Jeff shoveling...

I took this picture myself just to prove I was there. Since I am ALWAYS the photographer I never end up in pictures or on the blog. So I took one myself and I don't think it turned out too bad if I do say so myself.

And I guess she loved sledding so much that this is what happened when we were going back inside. We were only out for about 20 minutes or so which she clearly did not think was long enough. But she is still a baby and we didn't want her to get too cold. Needless to say we might sled for at least 30 minutes to avoid the meltdown afterwards.

I knew we had a little artist...

Well, I know what you are going to say before I even tell you this but...I am CHEAP. Ever since Samantha was little we have been taking her out to eat; almost every restaurant gives you crayons for them to color while you eat. Even though Samantha was too little to color, they still gave us crayons. I have been collecting all those crayons and she is finally ready to use them. I put them all in a little lunchbox and she loves coloring. We put her lunchbox of crayons on her new book shelf and she pulls it down and takes it to the table when she is ready to color. Like I said before...I have a little artist on my hands!
